When Rose first started writing it was mostly just journaling and quickly evolved into poetry. Being nurtured by her foster mom, her confidence slowly began to grow and she started writing short stories. Her friends would be eager to read what happens next in her stories and that encouraged her even more, causing it to evolve into full novels. It wasn’t until her forties though, that she decided to chase her dream of being published. Wanting to show her son that it is never too late to chase your dreams, she rewrote and published her first book, Smith Residence (a book she had envisioned for decades) and has only stopped writing since to work on promotional stuff for her author career.
Family
The most important thing in the world to Rose is family. At home is Rose’s teenage son from her first marriage, her fur baby that is an orange and blonde tabby. Rose’s son also has an orange tabby he inherited when his Dad passed in 2022. Rose and her son both miss him very much.
Rose has two sisters and two brothers from different blended families she’s a part of. Family doesn’t stop there for Rose though, her best friends and others she holds dear are also family to her. She learned at a very young age that family doesn’t have to be blood related, there just has to be the mutual feeling of love and protection.
Health
Rose has had many struggles with her health. At the age of 17, something called fibromyalgia began to take over her body. It would take five years before she would be officially diagnosed, and another two years after that before anything that resembled a normal life would return. Today, Rose struggles to find the balance between the fibro symptoms and her stubborn personality that refuses to let the fibromyalgia keep her from doing the things she’s passionate about. You could say Rose’s personality and her disability don’t get along. The fibro may knock her down fairly often, but Rose always fights to get back up as quickly as she can.
Design
The other passion of Rose’s is designing. She graduated with honors from a college course for graphic design. Rose makes use of that degree by creating everything you see for this brand. Everything from the design of the logo, website, merchandise, social media posts, ads and even the book cover for Smith Residence. Being able to combine her two passions is a dream come true for Rose, and she intends to continue to find ways to design. You can look forward to Rose designing all the covers of her books in the future, and she hopes to start a line in the store featuring some of her favorite designs, even if they are not book related. Make sure you don’t miss Rose’s designs.

Meet the Team
Everyone on the team are considered to be family. Some originate as friends, other’s are blood family, all have been a part of Rose’s life for awhile and have helped along the way. They are not confined to the roll defined below. They all help in what ever ways they are able to from bouncing ideas off of to reviewing completed work before it gets posted or published. They all have a special place and help make for an amazing team.
Rose
Writer/Graphic Designer/Content Creator
Rose does most of the roles herself. She writes and designs the books and covers and creates all social media content. She leans on her team for many things to make sure the published and posted things are the best they can be.
J
Lead Editor
J is my strict editor. She focuses on the grammar and is very thorough with reviewing the grammar and sentence structures. She’s good at catching details that don’t always add up and challenge characteristics of the characters by making sure the things written are appropriate for the age of the character built.
Nicole
Editor
Nicole likes to sit down with the manuscript in hand. She makes sure the story is flowing and if any extra or less details need to be talked about in a paragraph. She leaves notes of encouragement when something is really good and challenges when there may be story missing.
L.D.
Creative Consultant/Photographer
L.D. was one of the first people to join the team, at first not necessarily by choice, more by convenience, but he found he enjoyed it and decided to continue doing it. He reviews the content created for social media posts and book trailers. He makes sure the content and background music are all looking good before it gets posted to the public. He also is the person behind the camera for all photoshoot sessions and images you see of Rose.
Wes
Editor/Creative Consultant
Wes is the newest edition to the team after challenging a sci-fi book out of Rose. He is new to doing editing, but his love of reading has made him a natural. He has however, as an artist himself, been a great sounding board and help with the creative side of things and has often reviewed things before Rose finalized designs.
